These Terms of Use govern access to GiftCardNigeria and its reviews, rankings, comparisons, guides, newsletters and related pages.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

GiftCardNigeria is an independent editorial publication. It is not a gift card trading platform, bank, payment processor, broker or agent for any reviewed platform.

1. Information provided by GiftCardNigeria

GiftCardNigeria publishes research and editorial information about gift card trading platforms serving Nigerian users. Our work may include:

• Platform reviews and scores.

• Rankings based on the current scoring system.

• Head-to-head comparisons.

• Rankings organised by gift card type.

• Guides and explanatory articles.

• App-store information and third-party social embeds.

• Information about how we test and apply our editorial standards.

The website provides general information. It is not personal financial, investment, legal, tax or security advice.

2. No guarantee of results

We conduct controlled tests and publish the results we record. Your experience may differ.

Gift card rates, fees, card acceptance, transaction limits, KYC requirements, processing times, payout methods, app features and platform availability can change without notice. An outcome can also be affected by the card brand, country, denomination, format, receipt status, account level, time of day, bank or information supplied during a trade.

A score, ranking, review or comparison does not guarantee that:

• A platform will accept your card.

• You will receive the same rate or payout.

• A transaction will complete within the tested time.

• A service will remain available.

• A platform is free from risk.

• A platform is suitable for your circumstances.

Check the platform’s current offer and terms before submitting a card or sending money.

3. No transaction relationship

GiftCardNigeria does not receive, inspect, redeem, buy or sell a visitor’s gift card. We do not hold customer funds, control a platform account, process withdrawals or resolve transactions between a reader and a platform.

When you visit or use a reviewed platform, your transaction is directly between you and that platform under its own terms and privacy notice. Questions about a trade, rejection, payment or account must be directed to the platform concerned.

GiftCardNigeria is not responsible for a platform’s acts, omissions, solvency, security, customer support or transaction decisions.

4. Editorial independence

Reviewed platforms cannot buy a higher score, ranking or favourable verdict. GiftCardNigeria does not currently accept platform advertising, sponsored editorial content, affiliate payments or referral commissions.

A platform link is provided for convenience and identification. It does not make GiftCardNigeria part of the transaction and does not amount to an endorsement.

5. Rankings and comparisons

Platform rankings are calculated from the approved scoring system and current published test records. Changes to test results or scoring weights may change the order.

Comparison pages use current platform facts and scores together with an editorial verdict. A higher score does not mean that a platform will be the right choice for every reader.

GiftCardNigeria may delay, update, unpublish or remove content where the supporting evidence is incomplete, outdated, disputed or no longer responsible to publish.

6. App-store reviews and social content

App-store ratings, user reviews, videos and social-media posts belong to third parties. They are included as context and are not reviewed or endorsed by GiftCardNigeria.

Third-party material may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, removed or changed after publication. We may hide or deactivate an embed that no longer works or no longer meets our editorial standards.

Choosing to load an external embed or follow an external link subjects you to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.

7. Permitted use

You may:

• Read and share links to public GiftCardNigeria pages.

• Quote a brief portion of an article, review or policy with clear attribution and a link to the original page.

• Use the website for lawful personal research.

• Contact us with an evidence-based correction or complaint.

Permission to quote briefly does not transfer ownership of the material or allow a substantial part of the website to be reproduced.

8. Prohibited use

You must not:

• Copy or republish a full article without permission.

• Reproduce a substantial portion of our reviews, rankings, databases, screenshots or scoring records.

• Scrape, harvest or systematically extract website data without written permission.

• Use automated requests in a way that disrupts the website or places an unreasonable load on it.

• Circumvent security, access controls or rate limits.

• Attempt to access another person’s account or restricted editorial material.

• Upload, send or introduce malware or harmful code.

• Misrepresent GiftCardNigeria content, scores or evidence.

• Remove attribution or imply that GiftCardNigeria endorses your product, platform or service.

• Use the website for fraud, unlawful activity or infringement of another person’s rights.

Search engines may index public pages through normal crawling that follows our technical instructions. This does not permit bulk commercial extraction or republication.

9. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, GiftCardNigeria owns or is licensed to use the original text, scoring explanations, page design, graphics and other editorial material published under its name.

Platform names, logos, app-store material, social posts and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance is for identification, reporting, criticism, comparison or other lawful editorial use and does not imply ownership or endorsement.

If you believe material on the website infringes your rights, email admin@giftcardnigeria.com with the page URL, the material concerned, your basis for the claim and supporting information.

10. Newsletter

You may subscribe to the monthly rates report by entering your email address. Subscription is optional.

Every newsletter email includes a way to unsubscribe. We handle subscriber information under the Privacy Policy.

You must not subscribe another person without their permission or enter an address you are not authorised to use.

11. Corrections and complaints

Readers, reviewed platforms and other affected people may challenge a factual statement by emailing admin@giftcardnigeria.com.

Identify the page, the exact statement, why you believe it is wrong and the evidence supporting your request. Disagreement with an unfavourable score or verdict does not by itself establish an error.

GiftCardNigeria reviews correction requests under its Editorial Standards. We may correct, update, retest, archive or unpublish content where the evidence supports that action.

12. Website availability

We aim to keep the website available and current, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Pages, functions, links or data may be delayed, unavailable or changed during maintenance, technical faults, security work or content updates.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or our systems.

13. External links

The website links to reviewed platforms, app stores, social networks, official documents and other external sources. GiftCardNigeria does not control those websites.

A link does not guarantee the external page’s accuracy, safety, legality, availability or continued suitability. Review the external provider’s terms and privacy notice before using its services or submitting information.

14. Security and account access

Administrative areas are restricted to authorised users. If you receive admin access, you are responsible for protecting your login credentials, using the account only for authorised work and reporting suspected unauthorised access.

You must not share access with another person unless GiftCardNigeria has approved that person’s account and role.

We may suspend or remove administrative access to protect the CMS, investigate misuse, enforce permissions or end a working relationship.

15. Limitation of responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded under Nigerian law.

To the extent permitted by law, GiftCardNigeria is not responsible for a loss caused by:

• A reader relying on outdated platform information without checking the current offer.

• A reviewed platform accepting, rejecting, delaying or reversing a transaction.

• A change in rates, fees, limits, regulations or product availability.

• An external website, social-media service or app store.

• Unauthorised access caused by a user failing to protect their credentials.

• Temporary interruption, error or unavailability outside our reasonable control.

GiftCardNigeria remains responsible for its own editorial standards and for correcting confirmed factual errors through the published process. This does not make us responsible for a platform’s service or a reader’s transaction.

16. Indemnity

Where permitted by law, you are responsible for a claim, cost or loss arising directly from your unlawful misuse of the website, infringement of another person’s rights or unauthorised republication of protected GiftCardNigeria material.

This provision does not apply to ordinary good-faith reading, linking, criticism, correction requests or brief quotation with attribution.

17. Privacy and editorial data

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. Our Data Policy explains how testing evidence, scores, app-store information and editorial records are managed.

These policies form part of the rules governing the relevant use of the website.

18. Changes to the website or terms

We may update the website and these terms as our publication, technology or legal obligations change. The current revision date appears at the top.

A material change applies from the date stated in the updated terms. Continued use after that date means the updated terms apply to later use. This does not remove rights you already have under applicable law.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Before starting court proceedings about these terms or use of the website, contact admin@giftcardnigeria.com and provide enough information for an informal attempt to resolve the issue.

If the matter is not resolved, either party may bring it before a court with jurisdiction in Nigeria. Nothing in this section prevents a person from seeking urgent relief or using a statutory complaint process where applicable.
