How we tested CardKing
We tested CardKing on 16 September 2026 using a $10 US Razer Gold e-code. Following our How We Review process, we created an account, checked the rate page, submitted the card, contacted support and withdrew the completed payment.
The rate page displayed ₦1,153.23 per dollar and stated that physical cards and e-codes had the same rate. The card was submitted at 10:54 AM and completed at 10:56 AM, so the gift card trade took two minutes. CardKing processed it at ₦852 per dollar and paid ₦8,520 instead of the ₦11,532.30 calculated from the displayed rate. The separate bank withdrawal took one minute, and the full ₦8,520 reached the bank without a recorded fee.
Trading experience
Account creation required an email address and password. CardKing did not ask us to complete identity verification during the test, so we could proceed to the trading area after signup.
The sell page required us to enter the gift card name and value manually. It also did not display the rate, so we had to leave the sell page and check the separate rate page. That page showed ₦1,153.23 per dollar and stated that physical cards and e-codes had the same rate.
The completed trade did not follow that displayed rate. CardKing processed the $10 e-code at ₦852 per dollar and paid ₦8,520 instead of ₦11,532.30, a difference of ₦3,012.30. The card was processed in two minutes, and the wallet-to-bank withdrawal took another minute. CardKing also has a minimum withdrawal of ₦2,000.
